10 basic On-Page Optimization Techniques for your blog or website

Mere writing a blog post will not help you in building the good website. You will need to ensure good SEO for the same. These techniques are bifurcated into two part say On-Page Optimization and Off-Page Optimization.

Below are some basic On-Page Optimization tips for improving your blog post and thereby attract more visitors. It would be a great opportunity for you if use these tips from the first blog post itself

The title of the Post

The title of the post must be unique and the length should be in between 25 to 65 words. Further, ensure the title of the post includes focus keywords. For example: If you are writing a post on WordPress then your title must include the word the WordPress in it.

Meta Description of the Post

Meta description of the post must be unique and include the focus keywords used in the title of the post. Further, the length of the description must be in between 25 to 65 words.

Use Proper Image Attributes

Ensure all the images are properly named. Image without a name is bad for SEO. Further, try to use the focus keywords in the image name itself. It will help you to rank on the first page of the google.

Use Proper Meta Keywords

Though there is no need of Meta Keywords, still you can add this to your post. Ensure you take proper care while using Meta keywords.

Use High CPC words

Goggle ads depend on the content of the post surrounding it. If you use the high CPC words in your content then the even the ads will have the high CPC rate. So ensure proper keywords are used while writing the post.

Avoid Stop Words

Avoid using the stops words in the Post URL. Stop Words are bad for the SEO.

The length of the Post

The length of the post should contain minimum 300 words. Google do not like the small post.

First Para of the Post

Ensure you use the focus keyword in the first paragraph of the blog post. Google like the content that has focus keywords in the first paragraph.

Use Emoji within Post

Do not hide your emotion while writing the post. Google love the emoji. Use of proper emoji will help you in improving SEO score of your site.

Use Title Tag

Proper use of title tag will help in improving SEO score. Ensure your focus keywords are wrapped in either H1 or H2 title tag.

    I still believe there’s a good possibility that Bing and other smaller search engines still use meta keywords to some degree, so it’s still totally worth making sure to set your meta keywords up on all of your pages just in case, even though Google doesn’t use them at all.

To dominate or rank your site or blog on other search engine, one need to use UNIQUE meta keywords on every single web page.
