4 Biggest Lies that Bloggers tell about Blogging

Do you know? The internet is full of lies and no one is honest here. Whether it’s a dot com website or social media, everyone lies about their life.

It appears that online deception is a rule, not an exception now. And, even bloggers are not an exception to this.

This blog post is about those lies. It includes the top 5 lies that successful bloggers do tell you about blogging.

Biggest Blogging Lies

Before starting this blog post, I want to make it clear that I am not pointing fingers at anyone. I just want to suggest new bloggers ‘think twice before believing anything online‘.

I had seen bloggers whose first blog was a big hit. However, their second blog was a failure.

Just imagine, if they have any shortcut tips for creating a successful blog then their second blog would not be a big failure.

So, never believe them blindly. Think twice before believing them.

1. Blogging is an Easy Journey

Always remember that blogging is not a cup of tea for everyone. If any blogger urges you to become a blogger following some easy steps then please do not trust him.

In most cases, he is trying to promote or sell something to you.

There is no way to create a successful blog without doing hard work. And, of course, this can’t be even done overnight. It will take some time at least a few years.

In short, they’re deliberately trying to believe you that blogging is an easy journey. Your trust will give him a blind follower to his blog and paid services.

2. They are making huge money

This is the second biggest lie a blogger will tell you. Just imagine, Why a successful blogger (making huge money) will share his secrets with you.

Do you really think, he wants you to learn how to create a successful blog and compete with him for the first ranking?

No, Right? Then, Why would he lie about his earnings?

The answer to this question is ‘Followers’. Once again, he wants you to follow him and buy his paid services.

In simple words, this is one of the strategies to attract you to his blog.

So, never believe their earnings blindly. Barring a few bloggers, others are even struggling to make their living out of their blogs.

But, here a question may arise? What about the income report and earning’s snapshots being shared by them.

Actually, even those reports and snapshots are fake. The below-attached image is proof of the same.

Fake Google Adsense Earnings

I created the above Fake Google Adsense earnings snapshot using the ‘Inspect’ tool on the Google Chrome browser.

Within a second this fake report got generated.

Similarly, you can also edit anything online like your bank statement, etc.

3. Their reviews are un-Biased

Do you know? 93% of customers read online reviews before buying a product. If you’re one of them then you should read the below paragraph.

If you really think that these reviews are completely unbiased then you are wrong.

In most case, the service provider himself write the article and share it with them for publishing.

Of course, they pay a big amount to publish it. And, the bigger the amount the better the promotion will be done by the blogger.

So, Whatever they share online is totally not unbiased and depends on the amount paid for it.

4. Live Sales Notifications

Have you ever seen any notification saying ‘Someone has recently bought‘ this online?

I am sure your answer will be ‘Yes’.

But do you know these notifications are not true? There are WordPress plugins to create such fake sales notification alerts.

Actually, these fake alerts are created to trigger FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) consumer behavior.

It means when you see someone else made the purchase, you immediately assume that the product offers some benefit that you don’t currently have.

And as a result, you will get motivated to purchase the product or service.

So, bloggers create these fake alerts just to motivate you to purchase their products and services.
