It’s a known fact, Google keeps updating its Search Engine algorithm. Some of them are announced officially over Social Networking sites like Twitter and rest are kept un-announced.
But, to stay at the top in the competition and provides the most accurate search results to its users, Google keeps updating its search algorithms at a regular interval.

May’20 Updates
This includes all the major and minors updates made in the month of May 2020. The major (also known as core) updates are available in color format and the minor updates are available in simple non-color format.
Core update made by Google on 4th May 2020. This core update is for Focusing on the content. It means the new update will improve the ranking of your page if it contains content-rich information in it.
As suggested by Google, if there is a drop in ranking of your pages after this core update, you don’t have anything wrong to fix. Instead, focus on improving your content on it. The new search algorithm will reward you for good content.
This update will take at least 2 to 4 weeks to fully roll out, as Google said.
Minor Updates 1: Google recently changes the look of site links shown in the search results. Now, the site links are shown by cards. For more information, please refer to the below image.
